Material

Made from a silk twill fabric using raw silk for both warp and weft threads. Typically, weaving threads are twisted to prevent breakage, but this silk uses only lightly twisted threads in order to preserve the silk's sheen and characteristics. To preserve the fabric, it is carefully woven at a slow pace on a shuttle loom.

The printed design features fine multi-colored patterns, with great care taken to prevent misalignment during printing, reflecting our artisan partners' meticulous craftsmanship.
