Final Home

"What fashion can I propose as a fashion designer to people who have lost their homes due to natural disasters, wars, or unemployment, and what do they look like when they are at peace?” – Kosuke Tsumura
When is a storefront more than a storefront? During Tsumura’s FINAL HOME project, the windows of PARCO became an experiential display, showcasing the functionality of the “urban survival wear,” over a six day demonstration with a live model living in the window, exhibiting the many features of the apparel intended for homeless populations. Soon, the storefront of our New York City showroom will serve as an object performance space, housing studies and displays extending from our archive and programming.
