About vowels
vowels is a made-in-Japan designer brand providing premium denim and elevated essentials for daily life. Founded by Ritvik Kulshrestha and led by Creative Director Yuki Yagi, the guiding spirit for vowels follows the Japanese philosophy of Shu Ha Ri (守破離), wherein one must master the fundamentals of a creative practice before breaking those rules and reconceiving the form.
The vowels Research Library, located in New York City at 76 Bowery, is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 11AM to 6PM. Appointments can be made here.
